Histórico en el SSCC Alameda: Primera Generación Certificada en Inglés por la Universidad de Oxford
Esta iniciativa, impulsada por el colegio, representa un "broche de oro" a la completa preparación que el alumnado recibe en el idioma inglés, abarcando desde prekínder hasta IV medio. El plan de inglés institucional, calificado como innovador y enfocado en el fortalecimiento de las habilidades lingúisticas, ha culminado exitosamente con la certificación de su primera generación.
La emotiva ceremonia contó con la participación del Departamento de Inglés del colegio, el Equipo Directivo completo, liderado por la Rectora María Virginia Rojas, y representantes de Oxford University Press.
La comunidad educativa extiende un profundo agradecimiento a las familias y al colegio por sentar las bases de una herramienta tan crucial en el mundo globalizado actual como lo es el dominio de un segundo idioma.
First Generation Certified in English by the University of Oxford
A momentous milestone took place this Thursday, November 27, atour School with the certificate presentation ceremony for the University of Oxford English certifications. In a historic event, the effort and high English proficiency of 21 eleventh-grade students (III medio) were recognized, as they received their diplomas in the proud presence of all their families.
This initiative, driven by the School, represents a "golden flourish" to the comprehensive English language preparation that students receive, spanning from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade (IV medio). The institutional English plan, which is innovative and focused on strengthening language skills, has successfully culminated with the certification of its first generation.
The emotional ceremony saw the participation of the school’s English Department, the entire management team led by the Principal, María Virginia Rojas, and representatives from Oxford University Press, who validated the quality of the process.
The educational community extends its profound gratitude to the families and the school for laying the foundation for a tool as transcendental in today's globalized world as the mastery of a second language.
